I was asked to give a webinar on sustainable landscape design by a group that offers informative on line classes - they give CEUs for attending this on line class.
I will be talking about the 4 Principles of Sustainable Landscape Design (as I see it). It is design oriented so I don’t talk about planting or horticultural practices (except I do discuss soil, I can’t help myself - it is ‘All About the Soil’).
I will talk about native plants and some great combos.
I will talk a lot about capturing water, taming a slope, drystreams, grass steps and more. We need to absorb water into the ground as much as we can.
I talk about native trees. These are so vital - we must do out part to preserve them.
And I give design ideas and how to build specs. For example I talk about the efficacy of grass steps.
