Visionary British artist, Andy Goldsworthy (1956-), creates outdoor site-specific art that expands our view of the natural world. He drew on British agricultural tradition of dry stone walls when asked by Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, to create a site installation within their landscape of fields, hills, and woodlands.
