Many words have been spent on the deliciousness of decay in the fall garden. We savor the bent stalks of summer’s faded flowers, the brown walnut husks on the ground and the crunch of dry leaves as we walk. We feel the slight breeze that ripples through full grown grasses. This is the time of year when aging and imperfection are celebrated. How I love it!
