Most of our everyday walks are paved in a predictable pattern but this is changing. Who says that stone paving has to be boring? Paving of garden walks is part of the fun outdoors. Innovative paving can include different types of stone in varying patterns. It can be simple or elaborate and can be used in any size landscape, large or small.

In Wayne, Pennsylvania, about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia, there is a world-class public garden called Chanticleer. It is a 35-acre pleasure garden that exemplifies the best of plant and garden design, a study of textures and forms, where they offer plant lists of the gardens in uniquely styled boxes, each very different from the other.
