You have a fascinating background, and I love your philosophy ("serene outdoor environments uplift people" and your book titles. Great interview!

Thanks so much, Jeanne - I am trying to share as much as I can these days...

Gosh Jan, I don’t know where to start??

Thank you for being a trailblazer; for being BOLD, creative, technical, knowledgeable, cosmopolitan; for being lovely, and sharing your story. For being an artist! <3

Landscape architectural (LA) offices are definitely not all men anymore. Joy Kuebler, FASLA, is my hero and I am super thankful to have her in my life; moving me forward, as I’m trying so hard to do, to effect restorative change… getting emotional :D

It is so nice to hear your voice again (NJASLA 2022 Plant Matchups) and I’m so happy for you to be honored in this podcast.

I’m still that plant-species-challenged LA working in development and I love reading your Substack…

Thank you Jan <3

PS I remember vellum (was quite lovely for full-color prismacolor pencil hand renderings with fabulous transparency) and worked on mylar (w/ rapidograph ink pens) for blueprint construction packages early in my career. I miss using chartpak graphic markers…

PPS Experiential learning ROCKS and ‘Disco Husband’ = LOL

Oh yes Disco husband - dancin' fools. :-)

I am so thrilled to read your comments - I was reticent about sharing this but Jean, the interviewer, contacted me and told me to get the interview out there. I am glad I did! I will look up Joy Kuebler - thank you for mentioning her.

And mylar was my go to (with the pin system for layers) for decades. How did we do it???
