I too have worked on sites with motor oil + sand, which struck me at the time as being a pretty smart way to recycle that stuff, but I never connected the dots about where the oil would end up…! Sales of boiled linseed oil will soar!

I do when we prune boxwood - because of the dreaded blight disease. Other than that - nope.
